If I'm a Tenant, How Can I Get My Name Removed From This List
Home » Services » If I'm a Tenant, How Can I Get My Name Removed From This List
The rental property owner is the only person that can remove your name from display on the NoPayTenant website. You will need to send a message to the rental property owner, asking for instructions on how to have the posting removed. You send a message by clicking on the Flag Record button at the top of the posting, providing information about yourself, and waiting for a response. NoPayTenants.com will create a unique e-mail message link for you to communicate directly with the posting owner and send it to your personal email address. When you have multiple postings, you will need to flag each posting and send a message to each individual rental property owner to be removed from the website displays.
If you owe any money to the rental property owner, in most cases, you will need to make payment arrangements to have the posting changed or removed from display. If you feel that you do not owe money, you will need to settle any disputes with the rental property owner before your posting can be changed or considered for removal. The rental property owner has the right to post your information on this website and the right to determine when the information is removed.
The rental property owner makes the final decision to change or remove a posting from the website and it is suggested that you require the subject posting be removed from display as a condition of your payment or settlement. Click here for a sample General Release form that you can customize. Of course, the rental property owner can choose not to remove the posting from display and simply update the posting information (i.e.: paid in full, making monthly restitution payments, etc.).
Be advised that a response to a flagged posting can take up to 30-days. If the rental property owner does not respond to your flag during that time period, the posting is automatically removed from display. When the rental property owner responds to your flag, the posted information will continue to be displayed on the website, and the post cannot be flagged again for 90-days or until removed by the rental property owner.
It is your responsibility to contact the rental property owner, by email or telephone or by other authorized means, to workout your differences and have your information removed from display on the website.. During the workout period, the rental property owner is under no obligation to remove the posting from display on the website. Do not contact us since we are not involved with the resolution process.
We recommend that you promptly reply to all communications from the rental property owner during the workout period. This is in your best interest as you want to clear your name and the rental property owner wants a settlement as soon as possible.
Thank you for being part of NoPayTenants.com.
